  • Supporting our veterans by volunteering at Veterans Hospitals in Cheyenne and Sheridan.
  • Awarding medals and certificates to deserving ROTC and JROTC Cadets across the state.
  • Mailing postcards to veterans in VA Community Living Centers in the state.
  • Hosting a Remembrance Ceremony for the 100th Anniversary of the World War I and the Armistice.
  • Supporting new citizens and attending Naturalization Ceremonies.
  • Enjoying fun and informative programs such as the fashions of First Lady Dolley Madison and the historic Church St. Michael and All Angels in Dartmoor, England and its magnificent stained-glass window that was provided by the National Society, in 1910.

Picture
Henry Hill, a War of 1812 veteran, died in 1852 on the Oregon Trail and lies buried on private property in Goshen County, Wyoming. Identifying the person who lies in the Oregon Trail-era grave, has long proved difficult, but it is now certain that the occupant is Henry Hill of Monroe County, Mo., who died June 8, 1852, probably of cholera. Hill was 59 years old when he died, a veteran of the War of 1812 and a native of Virginia. Read more -->
